description All reservable campsites in loops A through G have power at this park. There are several attractions near South Beach State Park. Plan to visit the historic Yaquina Bay Lighthouse situated 2 miles north in the Yaquina Bay State Park. Yaquina bay has the historical bay front area and the Oregon Coast Aquarium is located less than 2 miles north. There are activities such as agate collecting, windsurfing, fishing, crabbing, boating and just plain sightseeing. Contact South Beach State Park at 541-867-4715 for further information. MAKE SURE YOUR SITE MEETS YOUR CAMPING NEEDS Before reserving, please become familiar with the particulars of your chosen site, including the size of the tent pad area and the type of equipment that you may bring to the park. Site details and tent pad sizes can be viewed online by clicking on the site name. A Large campsite has at least a 12'x12' tent pad area. Medium sites are at least 10'x10' and Small sites are at least 8'x8'.
drivingDirection Directions to South Beach State Park On Highway 101, 1 mile south the Yaquina Bay Bridge in Newport, 15 miles north of Waldport. Entrance to park is located on west side of Highway 101. Well signed.

D loop closes November 1 E, F, G, H and I loops close October 1 During seasonal closure, loops D, E, F and G can be utilized on a first come first served basis as demand indicates. Loops D, E, F and G re-open for reservations in mid-May. H and I loops re-open mid-May or as weather allows. Reservations will begin in mid-June. All sites are reservable the last weekend in February for the Newport Seafood and Wine Festival. No Wi-Fi access.

Any additional extra vehicles must park in a designated parking area away from campsites, and pay the extra vehicle fee. The nightly extra vehicle fee is $7. An $8 transaction fee is charged for any date or site changes made to an existing reservation. *Reservations for more than five nights/days that are later changed to fewer nights/days by cancelling nights at the end of the stay will only pay an $8 transaction fee. Reservations can be made 24 hours a day, from 1 day to 9 months in advance. Internet reservations become available at midnight.
